Understanding Credits
Learn how yomeru.ai credits work, what uses them, and how to check your balance.
Credits are simple: 1 credit = 1 image processed. That is the only thing credits are used for. Every other feature on the platform is free.
The short version
Processing a page costs 1 credit. Word lookups, grammar labs, translations, example sentences, sentence analysis, reading, favorites -- all free, always.
What Costs Credits
Every image or page you upload and process costs exactly 1 credit, whether it is a manga page, a novel scan, or a page from a PDF. Reprocessing a page you have already processed is free.
What Is Free
Everything that is not image processing:
- Word lookups (200,000+ entries)
- Grammar Lab explanations
- Context-aware translations
- Example sentences
- Sentence analysis
- Kanji details
- Reading processed content
- Furigana display
- Library storage and organization
- Favorites and history
Credit Allowances by Plan

Checking Your Balance
Your current credit count is shown in the upload dialog before you submit any files, so you always know exactly how many pages you can process. You can also see your balance in Settings > Billing.
When You Run Out
Running out of credits does not lock you out of yomeru.ai. You can still read everything in your library, use Word Lab, get grammar explanations, and access every AI feature. You just cannot process new images until your credits renew or you upgrade your plan.
